Let’s see how far up the order Rosi can go!

That would be none up the order.

Also, I shit you not, after all of my drivers crashed out I declared Ericsson my backup driver. That lasted all of 2 corners.

Fuck it,  Dixon seems a safe bet this season.

Really though Rosi had a shot at a top ten till the end when he went off-road again.

At this point I’m just assuming Dixon is going to win.

My buddy asked me if it was Power's to loose after he inherited the lead. I said, "Hell no, he's got Dixon on his ass." Yerp.

If Rossi has another race like this, he’s going to have to be put on suicide watch ... Or maybe murder watch. Can’t even blame mechanical problems this time.

I'm at Road America this weekend. This race seemed kinda boring to me. How was the show on TV? Sometimes they catch story lines that make it more interesting.

On TV it was fun.  The problems with pit stops changed the running order and kept things fun.

Good!

Hopefully we'll see some actual on track passing tomorrow.

Will Power and few other drivers complained about not having the right gears for the track, if they can make some changes to get some better acceleration off the corners things could get a lot more competitive on track.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of adjustments will be made tonight.

It was definitely wild on tv, made frustrating by the lack of cameras on a few of the wrecks. I still have no idea how Marco and Rossi ended up in the signs at the start.

Is the mask/distancing situation as bad as it looks on tv?

Sadly, yes. The crowd is almost as big as it was last year, and very few of them are wearing masks.

I think Rossi is just pushing too hard out of desperation. But I don't know either.

Also, Road America made a big deal about all the extra “sanitation stations” they put out. I haven’t seen a single one, unless that’s what they’re calling the porta-potties. They closed all the bathroom trailers and put a line of porta-potties in front of them. They do all have hand sanitizer in them, and I’ve yet to use one where the sanitizer is empty. That said, I was envisioning hand washing stations all over the place, but nope. Haven’t seen a single one of those.

Its actually harder to wash your hands properly this year, because the only sinks are in the permanent bathrooms.

It seemed like they thought Veekay could’ve been the cause of that one  but we never got a replay of the incident, just the aftermath.

Sounds like maybe not being there isn’t the worst thing that could happen. I’ve seen that bathroom situation a lot here as well (closing permanent facilities and substituting portapotties)  and don’t get it at all.

I’m guessing the logic is that a porta-potty is easier to clean, but in between cleanings they’re ... Gross and sweaty and hot and you can’t help but touc h more surfaces in them.
